I was presently surprised to see that DC did a fairly decent job clearing the streets. There were a few slick spots, but they were passable. Two of the apartment complexes where my kids live were a little icy. (What’s up with the maintenance people in these apartments? Slackers!) Even around the bus lot, they had also did a decent job clearing the ice away and putting down salt. There is a drainage issue that needs to be addressed, though.

I’m glad the sun is shining bright and some of the ice will be melting and gone! I don’t like ice.

All but one of my children rode the bus today. The school had a two-hour delay as well.
